Climbing guidebook Góry Sokole (5th edition)

"The Falcon Mountains" is the latest, fifth edition of Michal Kajca's iconic climbing guide to the most popular climbing area in the Sudetes. The latest 2023 topo includes as many as 1,218 climbing routes, which is 100 more lines than in the fourth edition dated 2021.

Although previous editions of "Falcon Mountains" were already considered exemplary in the community, the author makes every effort to make each subsequent topo even more reliable and accurate. In keeping with this philosophy, he has corrected and added descriptions to many of the roads, and used new drone shots, allowing the road grid to be drawn in more clearly. As always, most of the climbing photos have been replaced. There is also a new pink icon, which marks roads suitable for the youngest climbers.

All of Michal Kajca's guides are famous for their extensive historical section, which gains in volume and detail from edition to edition. The latest booklet includes as many as five new memoir texts, which are decorated with previously unpublished photographs. The guidebook describes not only climbing with a rope, but also four attractive bouldering sectors and the most interesting highline opportunities.
