Campingaz is a French brand with more than 75 years of tradition, which is one of the most recognizable manufacturers of camping equipment in Europe. Like Coleman, it is now owned by the American company Newell Brands. It was founded in 1949 in Lyon by three engineers. Their first breakthrough product was a small, blue reusable gas bottle called the “Bidon Bleu.” In 1996, Campingaz was acquired by Coleman. Today, the two brands cooperate - for example, Campingaz produces gas cartridges for both brands at its factory in France. The brand is especially famous for its distinctive blue gas cylinders and cartridges, which are standard on campgrounds throughout Europe and the world.

What does Campingaz produce?

Touring cookers: From small burners screwed onto cartridges (e.g., the popular Bleuet series) to two-burner suitcase stoves.
Gas grills: Both large garden grills (e.g., Master or Select series) and portable table grills ideal for balcony or camping.
