Helmet Petzl Meteor Black

METEOR is a lightweight, compact helmet designed for climbing, mountaineering and skydiving. It provides protection for the entire head, excellent ventilation and comfortable wearing in both summer and winter. METEOR is the first helmet with CE certification for skitouring. The shape allows optimum integration of goggles or face shields, resulting in an excellent helmet adapted to the requirements of skitouring.

• Lightweight, comfortable helmet with ventilation:
  • In-Mold construction with an EPS inner shell injected under a thin polycarbonate outer shell,
  • wide openings provide excellent ventilation,
  • careful finishing and elegant design.
• Enhanced protection:
  • concept in line with Petzl TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION designation,
  • helmet covers the head well, and is lowered at the back for greater protection.
• Adapted to the requirements of skitouring:
  • The first CE-certified helmet for skitouring,
  • Optimum ventilation for both ascent and descent. The helmet wears as easily at the beginning as at the end of a ski outing,
  • The front of the helmet designed to fit snugly over ski goggles,
  • rear attachment (rubber band) for ski goggles,
  • head circumference band semi-rigid easy to adjust, even with gloves,
  • two hooks on the front and rubber band on the back for attaching a head flashlight.
• This helmet does not comply with the requirements of EN 1077 - Helmets for downhill skiers.
