Charger Xtar MC2+

Xtar MC2 Plus is a minimalist, dual-channel, compact processor charger with micro USB charging input, with a three-stage TC/CC/CV charging process for 3.6 / 3.7V Li-ion batteries.

The TC/CC/CV charging method is a three-stage charging process for Li-ion cells that ensures that the cell remains in good condition by charging with the right current at each stage and completing the charging process at the right time.
The different stages of the TC/CC/CV process are:
-TC phase: cells discharged below 2.9V are 'energized' with a lower current.
-CC phase: when the cell reaches 2.9V, it is charged with a constant current of 0.05A to 0.5A (depending on the power source used).
-CV phase: when the cell is almost charged, the charger switches to charging with a decreasing current until the cell reaches 4.2V. When 4.2V is reached, the charging process is complete - the battery is fully charged.

The Xtar MC2 charger comes with a micro USB cable and a carrying pouch. The set does not include a power adapter. To power the charger, all you need is any charger with a micro USB cable, such as from a phone, or a USB socket or a computer with a free USB port. The recommended minimum power of the charger is 0.5A (500mA).
